Galatasaray are reportedly preparing a lucrative package to lure Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United. According to The Telegraph, the Turkish record champions are lining up a contract that could eclipse his current pay.
The 31-year-old is being offered an annual net salary of 21 million, roughly double his current 10-15 million at Manchester United.
He would receive a four-year deal running to 30 June 2031, with the club president said to be personally driving the move.
Whether United would sanction a sale remains unclear, as Fernandes is a first-choice pick and last season set a single-season Premier League assists record.
A 65 million release clause in his deal expired last month, so United can now negotiate freely. Galatasaray would probably need to pay at least 50 million, including 35 million as a fixed fee.
He is under contract at United until 2027. He made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring nine and providing 22 assists.
He then featured at the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, starting all five matches before Portugal lost 0-1 to Spain in the round of 16, registering one assist.
