City crowned WSL champions

Victory over Liverpool on Sunday meant that we could seal the title if Arsenal slipped up against Brighton on Wednesday night.

Knowing that, our players and staff arranged to be together to watch the match and with the Gunners held to a 1-1 draw, it was party time for everyone involved.

It’s an incredibly well deserved achievement, having been top of the table since November.

And there’s still the chance for more silverware, with an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea to come this weekend.

After that, we’ll go to West Ham United on the final day of the league campaign to pick up the hard-earned WSL trophy for the first time since 2016.

For now though, it’s all about appreciating all the hard work that’s gone into such a special league season.
