Lens eased to a 3-0 win at Toulouse on Friday night after the hosts were reduced to 10 men, with Ismaëlo Ganiou outstanding in defence.
According to L'Équipe, the 20-year-old, deputising for Jonathan Gradit, read the game superbly, dominated duels and distributed cleanly, stepping forward confidently once the numerical advantage arrived.
Toulouse briefly threatened when Emersonn’s acrobatic effort flew off target on 11 minutes, but he was sent off on 23 for a clumsy tackle on Odsonne Édouard. The striker later went off injured on 38, with Rayan Fofana introduced.
Wesley Saïd broke the deadlock on 57, pouncing after Vossah lost control in his own area, his seventh of the season. Vossah was withdrawn soon after for Sauer on 63.
Adrien Thomasson followed in to make it 2-0 on 85 after Restes parried Fofana’s shot, and Ganiou completed the scoring on 90+5 after a one-two with Thomasson. Gboho began brightly but, left isolated by the red card, he rarely threatened thereafter.
