Gary Neville says Chelsea player is “smidgen away from Eden Hazard” in daft comparison

Former Manchester United right back Gary Neville has named the Chelsea player who is a “smidgen away from Eden Hazard.”
But he’s wrong here, and this is just a very daft comparison in my opinion.
Pedro Neto is more like his namesake Pedro, who used to play as a winger at Chelsea, rather than being anything near Eden Hazard’s levels. And after his awful performance against Manchester City last night, comparing him with Hazard cannot be any further from reality.
The Blues scraped a 1-1 draw away at City last night after Enzo Fernandez bundled in a late equalising goal for the manager-less Chelsea side.
Captain Reece James was explaining the ‘different plan’ that the team had at the start of the game, as they needed to switch things up at half time to get something from the game.

Gary Neville sometimes gets his opinions spot on. But the majority of the time, I just find myself disagreeing with him.
Neville said on Pedro Neto after the City draw yesterday:
“He bloody frustrated me like you won’t believe. He’s a smidgen away from being an Eden Hazard, but he’s never going to be an Eden Hazard because he hasn’t got that beautiful sort of glide about him. But he was also a killer, and you’ve got to be a killer in those types of positions.”
That bit was correct, Neto was hugely frustrating yesterday. I think he was breaking down more of our own attacks than the defensive City players were!
He needs to get much better with his decision making and his quality overall.
