As Il Romanista reports, a meeting between Ryan Friedkin, Massara, and Gasperini was reportedly held at Roma headquarters yesterday, with the transfer market at the center of discussions. Ranieri, however, was absent for personal reasons.

The focus was obviously on attack, a sore point in Roma’s stellar start to the season.

The hottest name remains Joshua Zirkzee, on his way out of Manchester United. The Dutchman could therefore return to Serie A, where he excelled and established himself with Bologna, but for that to happen, the Red Devils will first have to open up to a loan deal.
