Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini previewed tomorrow night’s Europa League fixture against Midtyjlland.
“The Scandinavian clubs work well, they’ve always had physicality and now they’ve evolved well, as demonstrated by the results of their national teams. The technical disparity that used to exist no longer exists,” said Gasperini of tomorrow’s opponents.
“I think it’s reductive to talk only about the athletic aspect, Roma is a team that is doing well because it has improved its collective ability to play tactically, we have grown, we have more solutions and it has great personality even away from home and there are some good players.”
“The important thing is that Bailey and Dybala are recovered. If all goes well, they will be available for the team tomorrow.”
“Ndicka and El Aynaoui will probably not be there against Como. I’m sorry to lose them at this time, but we’ll make do with the resources we have.”
“The January window? I think the transfer market will only become realistic in January. As for us, I think I’m satisfied with the development of all the players, and it seems like there’s a good level of confidence. We need to be careful about bringing in players just for the sake of bringing them in and looking after ourselves.”
“Hermoso did well yesterday, today we’ll try together with Bailey and Dybala. If I’m calling them up it’s because they’re capable of playing.”
“Tomorrow is an important match that shouldn’t be taken lightly and it allows us not to think about Napoli because qualification is not at all assured.”
“We can face three competitions numerically. We don’t want to leave anything to chance and move forward as far as possible in all competitions.”
