Gasperini ‘to join’ race as Roma open talks for Benfica’s Richard Ríos loan | OneFootball

According to Gianluca DiMarzio, Roma have put Richard Ríos back on their midfield list and are said to have started talks with Benfica over a loan. Gian Piero Gasperini is also monitoring the situation and has joined the chase.

Roma want to reinforce midfield this summer after El Aynaoui’s move to Leipzig. The report said Ríos fits the profile they seek.

The Colombian is also on Galatasaray’s radar, although the champions of Türkiye have set Youssouf Fofana as their priority. The Frenchman was recently left out of Rúben Amorim’s plans at Milan.
