Barcelona star Gavi has on Monday taken to social media, to provide his response to news of Ansu Fati’s return to training.

The headline news in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date has come in the form of Ansu’s comeback.

After a fresh spell on the sidelines owing to a foot injury suffered in pre-season, the 21-year-old was this morning cleared to play his part in group activities, alongside the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.

It has, in turn, already been widely suggested that Ansu could be in line for his season bow this weekend, as Barcelona prepare for the club’s post-international break return to action against Catalan rivals Girona.

And one individual who appears to be delighted with such a prospect comes in the form of the aforementioned Gavi.

Himself on the treatment table long-term at present, midfielder Gavi is no stranger to the difficulties that come with not being able to take to the pitch.

Upon learning of his teammate’s presence at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday, the Spaniard, in turn, took to his Instagram platform, to send a message of encouragement the way of Ansu:
