La Gazzetta dello Sport names seven players, including Weston McKennie and Daniele Rugani, who are not part of Thiago Motta’s plans at Juventus.

The new Juventus project has already begun with agreements for Michele Di Gregorio and Douglas Luiz, who will soon be announced as the first two Bianconeri signings of the 2024 summer transfer window.

One player out of Motta’s plans, Moise Kean, has practically left the club already, as he’s on the verge of joining Fiorentina on a permanent €13m transfer plus add-ons.

Gazzetta, however, names six more footballers who may not even be part of the Juventus pre-season, as Motta feels they are not suited to his project.

According to Gazzetta, they are Arkadiusz Milik, Weston McKennie, Mattia De Sciglio, Filip Kostic, Daniele Rugani and Arthur.

Out of these six names, the most surprising one is probably Rugani, who has recently extended his contract in Turin, accepting a lower salary.

On the other hand, Arthur has returned after a one-year loan at Fiorentina and is one of the highest earners at the Allianz Stadium with a €7m-a-year contract. One more reason why Juventus will want to find a new club for the Brazilian midfielder.
