Genoa make season-long loan bid for Santos forward Robinho Jr | OneFootball

Santos have received a season-long loan proposal from Genoa for forward Robinho Jr.

According to Globo.com, Genoa would cover half of his wages and hold an option to buy for 8 million euros, R$ 48 million. Santos would also retain 10% of his economic rights if the sale is confirmed at the end of the loan.

The bid is the only offer currently on the table and the Italian club expects a response from Santos in the coming hours.

Robinho Jr travelled to Italy at the start of the week to deal with European passport and residency paperwork.

The 18-year-old has 13 appearances this season and one goal, his first as a professional, scored in a friendly against União São João. He has not played since 21 July, featuring in the heavy win over UCV in Venezuela in the Copa Sudamericana.
