Stephan El Shaarawy is waiting to find out his future.

After a long stint with the Giallorossi, the 1992-born player is enjoying his holidays after finishing his spell in the capital on a high note with a goal away to Verona and securing Champions League qualification.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his WhatsApp channel, Genoa is working on a possible return.

El Shaarawy would return to the team where he made his Serie A debut and would also be reunited with Daniele De Rossi, his former teammate and coach at Roma.

Venezia are also eyeing the striker, dreaming of a major signing.

A new experience outside of Italy is not out of the question: a foreign club is also pursuing El Shaarawy.
