Eintracht Frankfurt defensive midfielder Stefan Ilsanker could be moving to Serie B club Genoa, according to the Deutschen Press-Agentur, via Kicker.
The Austrian international is currently free to look for a move elsewhere as his contract expires at the end of June.
He is believed to be a target for Il Grifone. who were recently relegated from Serie A at the end of last season.
Able to also play in central defence, the 33-year-old spent four and a half years at RB Leipzig, before moving to Die Adler in 2020.
Ilsanker has made 61 appearances for Frankfurt, scoring three times for the club. During the past campaign, he struggled to be a regular in the team, playing just 14 games in all competitions.
He additionally has 61 caps for Austria but was recently left out of the latest international squad chosen for the latest UEFA Nations League fixtures in June.
