AS Saint-Étienne will set a new Ligue 2 record for a club’s average home attendance this season, with Stade Geoffroy-Guichard reaching 31,446. According to L'Équipe, the surge comes as Les Verts chase automatic promotion to Ligue 1.
The milestone will be sealed at 20:00 on Saturday when Saint-Étienne host Amiens, who sit bottom of Ligue 2 and are already relegated.

The club counts more than 20,000 season-ticket holders, underscoring consistently high demand across the campaign.
Saturday night should also deliver their biggest crowd of the 2025-26 season, with nearly 40,000 expected at Geoffroy-Guichard.
The stadium has not seen attendances on this scale since 2013-14.
