George Ilenikhena: the Nigerian joins Al-Ittihad

The 19-year-old striker, George Ilenikhena, is leaving AS Monaco for Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club has confirmed his arrival for a fee of around €33 million, including bonuses.

Although Al-Hilal was also interested, the player ultimately chose Al-Ittihad. His new contract runs until June 30, 2029. This season, Ilenikhena played 15 Ligue 1 matches for Monaco, scoring 2 goals. The Monaco club agreed to sell him during the winter transfer window.

Highly sought after in Europe, the Franco-Nigerian was particularly tracked by Stuttgart and Lille. His current market value is estimated at €12 million.
