Georgia Brown has received her first senior call-up to the Scotland squad ahead of their upcoming friendlies with Morocco and Switzerland.
Scotland head coach Melissa Andreatta has named her squad for the upcoming friendlies, which includes recalls for Kirsty Smith, Mia McAulay and Kirsty Hanson.
Georgia Brown made her Scotland U23 debut in May, impressing in victories over Iceland.
The 23-year-old previously played her club football for Cheltenham Town and Oxford United, before moving to the United States in 2024.
After a spell with Florida Elite where she was named Defender of the Year, before joining newly-formed USL Super League side Sporting Club Jacksonville in May 2025.
Brown is a towering centre-back who stands at six foot and two inches tall. She will help fill the void of Rachel Corsie who retired from football at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Corsie, who had been playing her club football with Aston Villa, scored 20 goals in 154 appearances for Scotland.
Brown was born in England, but qualifies to play for Scotland through her paternal grandparents.
Aston Villa’s Hanson is recalled to the Scotland squad following her spectacular goal in their WSL victory over West Ham.
Her performance led to her being named in SheKicks’ WSL Team of the Week for Matchday 5.
McAulay is also recalled after scoring three goals for Rangers so far this term.
Other notable names in the squad include Chelsea’s Erin Cuthbert, Liverpool midfielder Kirsty MacLean and Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir.
