Schreuder previously worked with Nagelsmann at TSG Hoffenheim from 2016 to 2018.

Nagelsmann said he rates Schreuder highly as a coach and person, and that his experience is a major asset for the team with the upcoming World Cup in mind. He added Schreuder arrives as an additional expert so Mads Buttgereit can focus fully on set pieces in training.

The Dutchman will be available for the March friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana.
