Bild reports there is now clarity over Julian Nagelsmann’s World Cup goalkeepers, and that Alexander Nübel will be in the squad. Sky Germany also reports his call-up.

Bild adds that Bayern Munich’s Jonas Urbig will travel with the DFB squad to support training.

Nübel, 29, has spent the last three seasons on loan at VfB Stuttgart from Bayern Munich, and is expected to serve as back-up to Manuel Neuer and Oliver Baumann.

Unless the injury Neuer sustained against 1. FC Köln at the weekend proves serious, the 40-year-old is set to start for Germany.

Augsburg’s Finn Dahmen and Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu are expected to miss out. Nagelsmann’s full Germany squad will be announced on Thursday.
