The brass at La Liga outfit Getafe have already sewn up an agreement for the club’s first signing of the upcoming summer transfer window.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Relevo, who point towards Álex Sancris as the player in question.
Sancris, for those not familiar with his name, is a 28-year-old winger, who is currently plying his trade in Spain’s 2nd tier, with Burgos.
The attacker has enjoyed a fine individual campaign to date, shining on his way to eight goals and nine assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.
Such exploits have not gone at all unnoticed in Spain’s top-flight, with a number of La Liga clubs understood to have expressed an interest in Sancris’ services over recent months.
And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then one such outfit now appear to have beaten out the competition to his signature.
As per MD, ahead of the expiration of Sancris’ Burgos contract in the summer:
‘If nothing changes: the forward will wear Getafe’s jersey next season. In fact, according to information from ‘Relevo’, he has already signed his contract which only needs to be made public.’
