Giorgi Abuachvili has rejoined Metz on a season-long loan for 2026-27, a second successive spell, and he will play in Ligue 2 following their relegation.
The club said in a statement that the 23-year-old winger has returned from Georgian side Kolkheti 1913 Poti. He becomes their second summer addition after Jean Ruiz.

The Georgia international has two caps and made 23 appearances last season, scoring two goals.
Abuachvili expressed pride at returning to represent Metz again this season.
He will work under new head coach Luc Holtz, appointed at the end of last season to target an immediate return to Ligue 1.
