There is no international break for our girls! Our women’s team remains in action in the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga, visiting SK Rapid this Saturday at 15:00 CEST in the shadow of the Allianz Stadion. As always, you can watch our away match against the newly promoted side on ÖFB TV and Laola1.

"The point gives us confidence for the future," said Dusan Pavlovic following last week's goalless draw against LASK. A win had been within reach thanks to a strong performance in the Upper Austrian capital. Now, the aim is to match a positive display with a result. Standing in our team's way is the Vienna side, who have settled well into the top flight since their promotion, suffering only two defeats in their seven competitive matches so far. It was only in their most recent home game - a 2–1 victory over LASK - that they finally secured their first three points of the league campaign, however.

For our team, the focus is on getting back to scoring, with a record stands at just one goal in the last five league matches - a tally with room for improvement, though it must be noted that most of those games were against top-tier Austrian sides competing in European competitions. Referee Heike Leitinger will officiate the first part of our Viennese week, ahead of next Saturday's home clash against Vienna

As a newly promoted side, Rapid have settled into the Bundesliga very well. They have shown that they are absolutely competitive at this level. On top of that, we can certainly expect a team full of energy and intensity in Vienna. For us, the goal is to build on our performance against LASK. We did a lot of things well there and were the better team for long stretches, but we need to reward ourselves for our efforts. We want to be even more precise and clinical, especially in the final third.
