Borussia Mönchengladbach are close to naming Eugen Polanski’s successor after a fourth successive Bundesliga defeat.

"We have reached a verbal agreement," sporting director Rouven Schröder said. He added that he expects the deal to be finalised "soon". SID reports that the comments were made after the match.
