According to BuLi News, Serge Gnabry has seemingly departed the Germany squad for workload management ahead of the Greece fixture.

The 31-year-old, recently back from a notable injury, has been rested after featuring in all three of Germany's Nations League games to date.

Despite only playing a combined 25 minutes against the Netherlands and Greece, Jürgen Klopp is taking a cautious approach. The versatile attacker has not encountered a setback, which will be a relief to both Bayern Munich and Vincent Kompany.

He suffered an adductor injury in April which forced him to miss the 2026 World Cup and has only just made a return to fitness.

With Jamal Musiala picking up a muscle tear last week, Gnabry will likely return to Bayern Munich and provide additional cover.

Meanwhile, newcomer Felix Keidel from SV Elversberg will take his place in the squad, who have landed in Thessaloniki, Greece.
