Go Ahead Eagles host PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie at De Adelaarshorst on Sunday, with 12th facing 13th and a one-point gap shaping a useful mid-table marker.

Go Ahead Eagles won the last league meeting in September, 2-0 away, while recent clashes between these sides have often ended level.

PEC Zwolle arrive unbeaten in five after four straight draws and a home win over NAC Breda, while the Supereagles have taken three wins from their last five, including a 6-0 thrashing of NAC Breda and a 1-0 victory at Excelsior, before losing at Utrecht.

The Supereagles are without defenders Gerrit Nauber and Pim Saathof plus midfielder Robbin Weijenberg. Zwolle list injuries to Jamiro Alvarenga, goalkeeper Jasper Schendelaar, defender Simon Graves and forwards Shola Shoretire, Samir Lagsir, Jan Faberski and David Voute, with youngster Jadiel Pereira da Gama also sidelined.

The Supereagles have scored 45 and conceded 45 this season, largely from inside the box, and have attempted more shots than their visitors. Zwolle have netted 38 but shipped 53, so their defence could be tested by Mathis Suray, who has 10 league goals, while Koen Kostons leads the visitors with 11 goals and six assists.

A home win could see the Supereagles overtake Zwolle and firm up their mid-table footing. Victory for Zwolle would extend their cushion over their neighbours and could solidify their position in the safer reaches of the table.
