St Mirren and Kilmarnock drew 0-0 at the SMISA Stadium, a result that keeps the hosts ninth and the visitors 11th in the Scottish Premiership.
In the seventh minute, Tyreece John-Jules' close-range header was clawed away by Shamal George. Greg Kiltie then forced another stop (12.), before Lewis Mayo's drive was tipped over (17.).
Jonah Ayunga's header drew a smart save from Toby Oluwayemi (23.). Alexandros Gogic was denied from the centre of the box (42.), and Conor McMenamin's effort was held on the stroke of half time (45.).
After the restart, substitute Jayden Richardson immediately made inroads down the right, crossing for Daniel N'Lundulu to test Oluwayemi low to his right (60.). Richardson's own header was then tipped away at the top corner (63.).
St Mirren registered 19 attempts, had 58.6% possession and forced 11 corners as pressure built from set pieces. George preserved the clean sheet with three saves, while the back line cleared 26 deliveries.
