"That's not my job. I have my management for that. I want to concentrate fully on the World Cup."
He told Blick after the 2-0 win over Algeria in the early hours of Friday.
Chelsea have had an initial bid of £eight million rejected by Sunderland, who do not want to lose their captain and believe the offer undervalued him.
The result confirmed Switzerland’s place in the last 16 and came on Xhaka’s 150th appearance for his country.
He said he was proud of the milestone and that Switzerland grew into the game, stressing they corrected issues at half-time, including too many long balls, and controlled the second half better.
Xhaka has not discussed the potential move beyond that brief response, though he is understood to be keen on the prospect of reuniting with Xabi Alonso at Stamford Bridge.
