According to Gremistas.net, Grêmio have begun discussions to extend 17-year-old midfielder Tiaguinho's contract after his early-season emergence under Luis Castro, starting alongside Arthur in midfield.

The move follows his promising displays and growing visibility since 2025, with the club keen to safeguard his value and market position.

Tiaguinho’s current deal runs until June 2027, and the plan is to secure a more robust agreement to strengthen negotiating power in the event of a future sale.

His present release clause stands at 100 million euros, R$ 624 million. Any new contract is expected to raise that figure and improve his salary, which would consequently lift the domestic market clause.
