According to Globo.com, Grêmio have reached 16 player departures since last year’s change in management, covering loans, sales and contract terminations. Four signings have arrived to date, Caio Paulista, Tetê, Enamorado and Weverton.
Of the 16, only two were regular starters under coach Mano Menezes and president Alberto Guerra last season. The list of exits is not yet final.
Alysson was sold to Aston Villa for 10 million euros, plus 2 million in performance bonuses. Tiago Volpi, Jemerson and Felipe Carballo had their contracts rescinded on Tuesday, and Volpi is expected to join Bragantino.
Other exits include loans for Adriel to AVS in Portugal, Arezo to Peñarol, Cristian Olivera to Bahia, Jardiel to Novorizontino, João Lucas to Remo, Jorge to Ceará and Mila to Anápolis. Alex Santana returned to Corinthians after his deal expired, Enzo finished his loan at the end of 2025, Camilo agreed a 2026 move to Chapecoense, Ronald was loaned to Fortaleza, and Lucas Esteves has a sale lined up to San Luís, Mexico.
Aravena, Cuéllar and Edenilson may be allowed to leave if offers meet the club’s expectations. The squad currently includes 11 foreign players, a situation the club need to manage.
