Grêmio set July return before World Cup final, friendlies and Copa Sul-Americana play-off scheduled

Grêmio will be back in action in July before the World Cup concludes, with Copa Sul-Americana play-offs ahead and their Brasileirão restart brought forward.
According to Globo.com, preparations include two friendlies. They face Chapecoense on Saturday 4 July at 19h (de Brasília) at Estádio Gigante do Norte, Sinop, Mato Grosso. Then comes Cruzeiro on Sunday 12 July at 17h at Mané Garrincha, Brasília, also a friendly.
The first official match is Mirassol v Grêmio on Friday 17 July at 20h at the Maião (SP), the 19th round and the close of the first half of the league season. The World Cup final is scheduled two days later.
The Sul-Americana play-off opens on Thursday 23 July, Bolívar v Grêmio at 19h at Hernando Siles. Less than a week separates their league return and this trip. Next is Grêmio v Fluminense on Sunday 26 July at 18h30 at the Arena, the 20th round.
Botafogo v Grêmio at Nilton Santos (RJ) for the 21st round is to be confirmed. The second leg against Bolívar is set for Thursday 30 July at 19h at the Arena.
