Albert Gudmundsson appears very close to a return to Fiorentina.
Despite having been heavily linked with Roma in recent days, the Icelandic midfielder is nearing a permanent move to Fiorentina where spent the past season on loan.

As reported by Sky Sport, Fiorentina overtook Roma and other teams interested in the player by reaching an agreement with Genoa.
The Viola will pay a lower fee than Genoa initially requested thanks to the good relations between the two clubs.
