Guido y Unai join Valencia team lunch after Paterna session

Valencia’s first team and coaching staff shared a team lunch after training at Paterna this morning.

According to AS, the group gathered around one table at a city restaurant.

Carlos Corberán tends to organise at least one meal each quarter away from the pitch. The previous gathering came before Christmas, and today helped Unai Núñez and Guido Rodríguez settle in.

Unai and Guido are the standout additions of the January window, which closes on two February. Sadiq has also arrived this month, the Nigerian striker already knew most team-mates from a previous stint.

The squad have a rest day tomorrow, then return on Friday to continue preparing for Sunday’s match against Betis. The club will present Guido Rodríguez and Unai Núñez at Mestalla tomorrow morning as new Valencia players.
