Guilherme Biro on loan at third UAE club after Corinthians exit

Guilherme Biro, the former Corinthians midfielder, is on loan at Al-Ittihad Kalba after joining in July, his third club in the United Arab Emirates. The 22-year-old had earlier spells with Sharjah and Ajman.
Born in 2004, Biro joined Corinthians’ academy in May 2015. He won the 2021 under-17 Paulista after beating Palmeiras, then progressed to under-20 level in 2022 and 2023. According to ge.globo, Corinthians retained 50% of his economic rights and are obliged to pass 10% to the player’s family.
He also won the South American under-20 title and Pan American gold in 2023. Biro debuted for Corinthians’ seniors in 2022 at the Maracanã, starting a 4-0 defeat to Fluminense. After 30 appearances without a goal, he joined Sharjah on loan in September 2024 for $300,000, R$ 1.6 million at the time, with a $2.5 million option for 50%, R$ 13 million.
In July 2025 Sharjah exercised the option, paying R$ 14.2 million, and Biro extended his deal to 2029.
Between 2025 and 2026 he made 53 appearances for Sharjah, scored five, and won the UAE Super Cup, the Qatar-UAE Super Cup and Asian Champions League Two.
He spent early 2026 on loan at Ajman, posting one goal and one assist in 10 games, then returned to Sharjah before joining Al-Ittihad Kalba on loan in July. Kalba sit 10th and he has five outings without a goal.
