Yuri Alberto completed a full session with the Corinthians squad on Friday at CT Joaquim Grava. He has been cleared to face Internacional next Wednesday at Beira-Rio, kick-off 19:30 Brasília time, in the Campeonato Brasileiro's 29th round.

According to Globo.com, the centre-forward has recovered from a right thigh muscle injury after a setback during treatment and has now ended his physical transition. He has not featured since 30 July, when he was injured against Athletico.

He had been pencilled in to return in the clássico against Santos on 30 August, but suffered a partial rupture of scar tissue during healing, which sent him back to the medical department before restarting the transition phase.

Friday's work included gym and warm-up, then an attack against defence drill with attacking overload. Fernando Diniz subsequently led a 10 against 10 tactical exercise covering varied game situations.

Corinthians train again on Saturday morning as preparations continue for the league's resumption after the FIFA break. The side sit 14th on 32 points, three clear of Grêmio, the first team in the relegation zone, and need to halt a run of six straight league defeats.
