Guillaume Restes is due to rejoin the Toulouse squad for Saturday’s home game against Le Havre at 20:45, with uncertainty still surrounding Rasmus Nicolaisen and Aron Dönnum.

He missed the 2-2 draw at Lorient with a thigh issue and was replaced at Le Moustoir by 19-year-old Mathys Niflore. According to L'Équipe, the goalkeeper returned to group work on Monday and has trained normally all week.

He should reclaim the starting place on Saturday, though head coach Jens Berthel Askou stopped short of confirming a competitive return, saying things have gone well so far.

Askou added that a final decision would be made on Friday, and that all three could be ready. Nicolaisen has a calf problem and, as TFC captain, only perhaps a chance to feature, while Dönnum’s progress has been described as very positive.

The left-footer is training increasingly well, the coach said. Whether that is enough for a recall before the long international break remains open, and he will be selected only if at 100 percent. Dönnum took part in pre-season but has yet to play in Ligue 1 this season.
