Gustavo Henrique reached 100 games as Corinthians beat Barra 1-0 on Thursday night, becoming one of only eight in the squad to hit three figures.

According to Meu Timao, the eight are Yuri Alberto 231, Matheus Bidu 148, Matheuzinho 137, Raniele 136, Rodrigo Garro 129, Breno Bidon 128, Hugo Souza 118 and Gustavo Henrique 100.

Before kick-off he received a commemorative plaque and a personalised 100 shirt, posing with family, team-mates, president Osmar Stabile and football executive Marcelo Paz.

On the night he completed 66 of 71 passes, a 93% success rate, made six recoveries, won four duels, plus two clearances and a tackle.

Signed from Real Valladolid at the start of 2024, the 33-year-old has played 100 times, with 96 starts, recording 48 wins, 21 draws and 31 defeats.

He helped lift the 2025 Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil, then the 2026 Supercopa do Brasil, and has 10 goals and four assists.

He already ranks 12th among the club’s top-scoring defenders in almost 116 years and leads the position this decade, since 2021.

In 2026 he is a set-piece threat and the side’s second-top scorer with four goals, behind Yuri Alberto on six.

Under Fernando Diniz he partners Gabriel Paulista at centre-back. Corinthians visit Botafogo at Nilton Santos on Sunday at 16:00 in the 16th round of the Brasileiro.
