Gustavo Henrique struck a stoppage-time equaliser as Corinthians drew 1-1 at Independiente Santa Fe in Colombia in the fourth round of the Copa Libertadores group stage on Wednesday, underlining his growing attacking threat.

As reported by Meu Timao, the centre-back has become a notable attacking weapon since arriving at the start of 2024. He now has 14 goal involvements for the club, 10 goals and four assists.

Of those contributions, nine altered the scoreline, seven put Corinthians ahead and two levelled matches.

This year he has directly influenced the score on five occasions. He opened the scoring against Ponte Preta in the Paulista opener and set up Gabriel Paulista versus Flamengo in the Supercopa. He assisted Raniele then added the second in the home win over Independiente Santa Fe, and scored first against Peñarol in the Libertadores.

His latest equaliser lifted his 2026 tally to four goals, placing him second on Corinthians’ scoring chart, ahead of André and one behind Yuri Alberto. He also has two assists this year.

The number 13 remains available to Fernando Diniz, with Corinthians hosting São Paulo in the Brasileirão on Sunday at Neo Química Arena at 18:30 in the 15th round.
