Gustavo Martins attracting UAE interest, five million euros could prompt exit | OneFootball

Grêmio centre-back Gustavo Martins has received enquiries from two clubs in the United Arab Emirates, who intend to move for him during the current window, open in the country until 28 September. If a deal does not materialise now, talks could be revisited at the end of the year.

According to Globo.com, the player's representatives say he could leave if proposals start from five million euros, approximately R$ 29.5 million.

The interested teams have requested details on salary expectations, cost of living in Porto Alegre, his family set-up, and recent performance data, including minutes played, kilometres per match and any injuries.

An academy graduate at Grêmio, the 24-year-old is a regular under Luís Castro. This season he has played 32 matches, starting 27, with three goals and two assists.

In 2025 he was targeted by Botafogo, although negotiations did not progress. Martins is under contract with Grêmio until December 2027.
