FCB defender Giulia Gwinn had to be taken off after picking up a knock during FC Bayern Women’s 1-0 Bundesliga win at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening. Further examinations will take place on Monday in Munich. It means Gwinn will not be an option for head coach José Barcala and the Munich women for the foreseeable future. The 27-year-old Germany captain will also miss the upcoming internationals against Australia (9 October, Karlsruhe) and Japan (13 October, Bremen).
