The Sweden international has scored seven goals in 12 matches across all competitions since the turn of the year, taking him to 15 for the season. No other player in the league has found the net more often in 2026.

His recent form leaves him just three goals short of the scoring record currently held by Alexandre Lacazette under Arteta for goals in a single season (18, 18/19).

Analysis from Sky Sports identifies him as the most closely marked player in the Premier League, marginally ahead of Liam Delap of Chelsea.

Delap has scored just two goals this season, although he has also been impacted by injuries.
