Haaland And Doku Get 7.5 | Manchester City Players Rated In Lackluster Draw Vs Brighton

Manchester City entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 41st minute when Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Kaoru Mitoma equalised for the Seagulls at the hour mark as Man City were held to a lackluster 1-1 draw at the Etihad.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the match against the Seagulls.
He made a couple of solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 6.5/10
Nunes made some crucial interceptions when defending inside his half, but offered very little going forward.
CB: Abdukodir Khusanov – 7/10
He did his fair share of defending but failed to keep a clean sheet.
CB: Max Alleyne – 7.5/10
Alleyne gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the pitch and was a good presence on the ball.

LB: Nathan Ake – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on both halves.
CDM: Nico Gonzalez – 7/10
Gonzalez anchored the midfield with conviction but struggled to influence the game in the final third.
RW: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on the right flank but failed to register a goal.
CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 6.5/10
Reijnders made some crucial interceptions inside his half and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
CM: Phil Foden – 6.5/10
He caused some headaches for his marker, but there was no goal for him.
LM: Jeremy Doku – 7.5/10
Doku was a constant menace on the left wing and engineered some inviting chances for others around him.
