Haaland Gets 8.5, Savio With 8 | Manchester City Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Everton

Manchester City entertained Everton at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a good start to the game, but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Erling Haaland scored a quick-fire brace early in the second half as Man City cruised to a solid 2-0 win at the Etihad.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the game against the Toffees.
He made one good save at the back and secured an important clean sheet at home.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 8/10
Nunes performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward.
CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10
He was a rock at the back and was accurate with his ball distribution.
CB: Nathan Ake – 7/10
Ake put his foot through the ball when required and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7.5/10
He was solid when defending inside his half and managed to earn an assist as well.
CDM: Nico Gonzalez – 7.5/10
Gonzalez was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
RW: Savio – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 7/10
Reijnders caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.
CM: Phil Foden – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third but failed to register a goal.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 7/10
Doku caused a lot of headaches for his marker but lacked the cutting edge in front of the Everton goal.
ST: Erling Haaland – 8.5/10
Haaland was a real handful for the opposition defenders and did well to score a quick-fire brace in the second half to help Man City earn another important win at the Etihad.

RW: Oscar Bobb – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times on the right flank.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7/10
Silva was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.
