Erling Haaland has started the season in customary fashion, firing in goals for Manchester City.
The Norwegian’s opener at Brentford means Haaland has now scored nine times in the Premier League this season, three more than any other player.
Haaland’s effort in West London was also the first time he has scored at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium, extending his astonishing record on the road.
The 25-year-old has scored in 22 of the 23 stadiums he has played in in the Premier League (96%) the highest ratio of any player in Premier League history.
Anfield is the only stadium Haaland has played in in the Premier League without scoring, with his next visit to Liverpool on February 7th 2026.
He has previously scored at the ground, for former club Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League. However, he’s yet to net an Anfield goal in the Premier League.
Can he make it a 100% record in the Premier League?
