Habib Beye cleared to sign for OM after formal Rennes dismissal

Habib Beye has been formally dismissed by Rennes, clearing the way for him to sign an 18-month contract as OM head coach.

According to L'Équipe, the dismissal notice arrived on Wednesday afternoon.

It followed a failed conciliation with the league's legal commission on Tuesday afternoon, after which Beye awaited formal notification to join OM.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rennes confirmed the arrival of Franck Haise.

Beye should be on the bench at Brest on Friday in Ligue 1.
