Habib Diallo has joined Le Mans on a three-year contract after arriving in Sarthe on Tuesday. The 31-year-old Senegal striker moves from Metz.

L'Équipe reports that he signed shortly after 15:00 as Le Mans completed their final major addition of the summer. The club could have opted for a two-year deal but chose a longer agreement.

He will bolster an attack already featuring Louis Mafouta, Dame Gueye and Antoine Rabillard. Mafouta has been lively since the restart.

The plan is to make Diallo a starter alongside Mafouta.

Another signing has not been ruled out in the final hours of the window, particularly if there is a departure. At this stage, nothing has been finalised.
