Wydad Casablanca confirmed on Sunday that winger Hakim Ziyech has left the club.
The club said in a post that his spell may not have lasted as long as hoped. It added that seeing him in the Wydad shirt was special for the club and supporters and that his presence would remain a unique chapter in their history.

The 33-year-old has previously played for Ajax, Chelsea and Galatasaray.
He joined Wydad in summer 2025.
He made 16 appearances in all competitions last season and scored nine goals.
