Newcastle United faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 14th minute when Nico O’Reilly got his name on the scoresheet. However, Lewis Hall scored the leveller for Newcastle just eight minutes later. O’Reilly gave Man City the lead again in the 27th minute as Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
The Tyneside club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a tough 2-1 loss at the Etihad.
