The matchday 17 Bundesliga fixture between Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen was called off on Tuesday evening because of heavy snowfall in the city at the weekend.
The German Football League said in a statement that static risks at the stadium roof, caused by the weather, meant the game could not be played.

The postponement was confirmed less than three hours before kick-off, which had been set for 20:30.
A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
Following Storm Elli across the north and north east from Friday, Saturday’s matches, St Pauli v Leipzig and Werder Bremen v Hoffenheim, were also postponed. They have been rearranged for Tuesday 27 January at 20:30.
