Hamburger SV show interest in Wolves defender | OneFootball

As reported by the Hamburger Abendblatt, Hamburger SV are interested in Wolves defender David Møller Wolfe. 

The Norway international has featured a couple of times for the English Championship side this season as they hope to bounce straight back into the Premier League. 

The local newspaper reports that Wolfe was already in Hamburg and was ready to sign with the Bundesliga side. 

However, contrary to these reports, sources in Wolverhampton have confirmed that the defender was present for training in Wolverhampton this morning and is also expected to be in Wolves’ squad away at West Ham on Tuesday evening. 

Wolves would be willing to let the left-back leave before the window shuts, however, only if they have another player lined up to replace him. 

For HSV fans, this could be one to watch as the hours tick closer to the end of the window. 

Wolfe was a starter for Norway in this summer’s World Cup, but has been sharing the left-back position at Wolves with Hugo Beuno this season.
