West Ham are growing in confidence that the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo is set to see the club climb the table.

Despite the club occupying 19th place in the Premier League at present and fan protests & boycotts on the cards – behind the scenes there is real sense of belief that the upgrade in manager is going to be felt very soon.

Graham Potter never got his plans for West Ham up and running, with it understood that the soft approach was not working, especially when trying to inspire the troops. We also understand that the training regime was not well received, with some players way below par.

Nuno however has come in with a far more stern and personal approach to the players, which has been well received. There is a belief of going into battle under his leadership – with many said to be very impressed with his impact so far.

A win though is needed to breathe that belief into his tenure, with the Brentford game on Monday seen by everyone at the club as a must win.
