Hansa Rostock seal record-breaking sale of Ryan Naderi to Rangers | OneFootball

Hansa Rostock have confirmed the sale of Ryan Naderi to Rangers, a record deal for the club and for Germany’s 3. Liga.

Sky Germany reports that Rangers are paying an initial fee of €5.5 million, which could rise to €6 million, with Rostock also landing a 20 percent sell-on clause.

Board chairman Ronald Maul said the offer was too substantial for a third-tier side to turn down.

He added that, while the finances mattered, the decision was guided by Naderi’s development, with the forward now getting a chance to play internationally and test himself on a bigger stage. Maul insisted Rostock remain confident in the strength of their squad.

Naderi arrived from Borussia Mönchengladbach in the summer of 2024 and scored 13 goals in 45 appearances for Rostock.
