Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided his response to the anger showcased by Lamine Yamal following his withdrawal from the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona were back in action on the domestic front earlier this evening, locking horns with Levante in a La Liga clash.

The aforementioned Lamine Yamal featured from the off at the Spotify Camp Nou, from his customary berth on the right flank.

En route to a 3-0 Blaugrana triumph, however, the 18-year-old was hooked from proceedings during the 2nd-half without either a goal or assist to his name.

And Lamine could not hide his disappointment with as much, looking less than content as he made his way from the pitch and to the bench.

Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, the subject of Lamine’s frustration was therefore put to manager Hansi Flick.

And the German tactician was open as ever in his response, explaining:

“It’s normal, he was angry with his performance. For me, the most important thing is that we won today, and we also have some players who deserve to play. Roony (Bardghji) did that, he was training very well, he’s a professional player in every sense of the word. And also when he came on, it was good to see his reaction, and that’s what we want to focus on.”
